Assistant Preschool Teacher

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

• Support the Lead Teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and activities.
• Provide attentive, nurturing care to each child, promoting emotional and physical well-being.
• Assist with maintaining a clean, safe, and organized classroom.
• Supervise children in play areas, classroom, and outdoor spaces.
• Help observe and document children’s progress.
• Foster positive relationships with children, families, and coworkers.
• Attend training sessions and staff meetings as required.
• Support transitions such as meals, naps, and bathroom routines.

Job Qualifications

Qualifications:

• CDA credential or actively working toward it.
• College coursework in Early Childhood Education preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience working with young children.
• Reliable, patient, and compassionate.
• CPR and First Aid Certification preferred.
